This is what happens when we're doing a poetry unit in English and told to make 5 poems in the style of Dickinson or Whitman, and told not to do haikus. i was listening to music and made 14 haikus and then changed them slightly so the teacher would accept them, don't read into these darkness surrounds me/ dragging me down to the depths/ true oblivion life ends abruptly/ breath leaving a lifeless corpse/ so much time wasted/ say you'll haunt me now/ i want to belong to you/ take me forever the light falls slowly/ finally giving way to/ the darkness of night the moon as in tides/ wanes then waxes quickly back/ the tide takes us over the en

The human condition is to exist upon the suffering of others, and thus the world has been split into two different sectors; the first or developed world and the third or developing world. The first world exists and lives it's life by exploiting the third world. There is no inbetween or middle class in reality. There's the people in the first who even the poor are rich and the people who are in the third who, unless are in a position of power, are all poor and even the richest are dirt poor. chaos, war, and death. all these are the same basic functions of the human condition and will be not only possible but unavoidable within our lives. chaos is what we face every single day. you can't tell if you will be fired or promoted, broken-hearted or loved, killed or not. everyday is a new war on our selves. we are always fighting ourselves and our base instincts. we are carnivores and yet we have vegetarians and vegans in the world, we are violent creatures but we have people like Gandhi who go against war. these people are just fighting what it means to be human. if we'd follow our basic instincts, sure we'd fall out of our governments
